Ex-mathematics school teacher Emily Lynch Victoryhas a what she calls a “crazy obsession” with numbers and patterns.
With degrees in mathematics and fine arts, The Minneapolis artist turns complex mathematics into unique paintings reflecting concepts such as probability, and takes inspiration from old textbooks and school exercise books.
This short film, directed by Minnesota-based Maria Bartholdi, is an entry in the PBS Film Festival.
