This year, NASA’s Mars rover Opportunity completed the first Martian marathon – 26.219 miles or 42.195 kilometres. It took 11 years. Not bad for a vehicle that was not expected to survive its first Martian winter. [email protected] used the occasion to make this video presentation of the highlights of the mission.
