40 years ago Australia was at the forefront of climate change education – what happened?

In November 1987 the BoM and CSIRO undertook maybe the first ever climate education workshop, and called together 200 or so scientists to discuss what the new research into carbon dioxide emissions was showing. It was a world-leading initiative.
