The Albanese government has extended public consultation into science priorities until April 6, 2023. 

There are multiple reviews underway: space and STEM, but the big one is refreshing the national science and research priorities which will include a refresh of the National Science Statement.

Professor Cathy Foley, Australia’s Chief Scientist, speaks to Cosmos science journalists about their review process, and about science priorities in energy transmission; space, quantum technology, hydrogen and gas, and how to bring science and scientists together with policy makers and the community.
