Mouse neurons
A new kind of microscope reveals the delicate tracery of a mouse’s neurons.

The image above was taken with a newly developed microscope for optogenetics, that can image a large area and stimulate multiple neurons to flash on and off simultaneously.
The microscope is described in a paper in Biomedical Optics Express.
