Have you ever wondered how the massive fireballs in every Michael Bay action flick are created?

Reactions, Everyday Chemistry, the media arm of the American Chemistry Society, has created a video to explain the science behind Hollywood blockbuster explosions.

Using substances such as gunpowder, charcoal and dynamite, pyrotechnicians can create enormous, spectacular fireballs and smoke clouds, leaving the audience thrilled and Michael Bay with a job.
