NASA’s Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), that keeps a close eye on our Sun, captures images in 10 different wavelengths, each of which helps highlight a different temperature of solar material.
In this video the SDO shows images of the Sun in unprecedented detail.
Make sure you play it, if you can, in ultra-high definition video (4K).
Music played on the video was written and produced by Lars Leonhard.
