Crew of the International Space Station, commander Terry Virts of NASA, cosmonaut Anton Shkaplerov of the Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos), and Italian astronaut Samantha Cristoforetti, have landed safely near the town of Zhezkazgan, Kazakhstan.

Virts, Shkaplerov, and Cristoforetti spent more than six months onboard the space station where they served as members of the Expedition 42 and 43 crews.

During the record-breaking mission of 200 days, Cristoforetti became the longest-serving female astronaut in space. She is pictured below sampling the first space espresso coffee from the ISSpresso machine specially designed for use on the space station.
