Almost half a century ago, in 1969, Neil Armstrong took this photo of Apollo lunar module pilot Buzz Aldrin carrying the Passive Seismic Experiments Package in his left hand and the Laser Ranging Retroreflector in his right to the deployment area on the Sea of Tranquillity.
