Physicists from Japan and Australia have proposed a novel two-dimensional design for a quantum computer that can be constructed using existing integrated circuit technology.

The research was led by Tokyo University of Science, in collaboration with Japan’s Center for Emergent Matter Science and University of Technology Sydney.
