The BBC introduced a robotic model of an emperor penguin to spy on the remarkable birds, which breed over winter in the pitch black Antarctic. Perhaps even more remarkably, they fell for it.
This was one of the 50 spy cameras that filmed three very different, yet equally charismatic, birds. This clip is from the first of the new three-part series.
