Visitors arriving in Antarctica are met with a landscape of breathtaking beauty and stark contrast. Vast icebergs, towering glaciers, and expansive ice shelves create a surreal, otherworldly atmosphere.
In December 2024, Australian cruising company Scenic and Cosmos are setting off on a special expedition cruise 11-day voyage to the Antarctic Peninsula.
Former Cosmos editor-in-chief Ian Connellan and former Cosmos editor Gail MacCallum will be on board for the trip. They spoke to Jason Flesher, the Director of Discovery Operations for Scenic, about his experiences in Antarctica.
