Marc Brazeau writes on food politics, sustainable agriculture and whole food nutrition at Food and Farm Discussion Lab.
Marc worked on farms growing up in Massachusetts, a political and union organiser through most of his twenties and a chef through most of his thirties. In in his forties he opened a restaurant and worked for a non-profit on corner store issues while teaching cooking and nutrition in a low income community. Now at 47 Marc is combining his interests in economics, politics, labour, agriculture, cooking and nutrition into food writing.
He considers himself an essayist, a generalist and is most interested in how a lay person makes sense of contested issues in a complex world.
