Is Artemis ready to go to the Moon?

NASA is heading back to the moon in the hopes of setting up a colony there.  

But this endeavour – called Artemis – has been beset by delays and the spacecraft remains firmly on the ground.  

A launch window will be available on 14 November, and NASA says it’s ready to launch.

But there’s also a potential hurricane developing off the Florida coast.

So, what’s going on? Why hasn’t it launched yet, and is NASA really ready to go back to the Moon? 

UPDATE: Since this episode was recorded, NASA has pushed the Artemis launch back by two days due to a tropical storm off the Florida coast.
